Employee Benefits Program
Medical Insurance
Group medical insurance is offered through Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Astornet
contributes to the premium for all regular, full-time employees.
Dental Insurance
Group dental insurance is offered through Delta Dental. Astornet
contributes to the premium for all regular, full-time employees.
Vision Insurance
Vision insurance is offered through Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Under this plan,
employees are provided a variety of benefits including eye exam and discounted
products. Astornet offers a basic plan and a vision buy-up plan offering
substantially enhanced benefits.
Supplemental Life Insurance
This voluntary life insurance program allows employees to purchase additional
life insurance for themselves, spouses and dependent children. There is no
medical evidence of insurability required if employees sign up within 30 days
of hire and do not exceed the basic coverage limit. The insurance is portable
and employees may continue it at the same rates should employment with
Astornet ends.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Regular, full-time employees accrue a given number of days of universal leave
each calendar year based on their length of service.
Paid Holidays
Astornet observes 10 paid federal holidays each year for
all employees: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday,
Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day,
Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Education/Training Assistance
Astornet encourages all employees to continue their education. Each
employee is provided at least 40 hours of training each year. In addition,
Astornet will reimburse the cost of tuition for course work related to
their current job. This reimbursement is depended on the grade received by the
employee. Eligibility and service requirements must be met.
Automatic Payroll Deposit
Astornet offers employees automatic payroll deposit. Employees may
designate up to three accounts for direct deposit.
