Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager responsibility will be to identify, negotiate and manage relationships with technology clients.

The Business Development Manager will strategize to identify, prioritize and pursue new and existing business opportunities. The role requires an ability to quickly understand new technologies and business models and be able to evaluate their relevance to Astornet's vision. Likewise, the Business Development Manager will be expected to generate his/her own ideas and initiatives that capitalize on existing and prospective clients to drive new or additional substantive revenues.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization, in both a team and independent environment.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo to drive significant increases in high-margin, recurring revenue.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
  • Proven experience in US Federal government sales, and GSA sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, computer science or engineering with an MBA preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 + years of business development experience in the technology industry.
